Description

The Team:

Stratocast is a simple, cloud-based video monitoring system that has been designed to remove obstacles of network video adoption for small and mid-sized businesses, as well as larger enterprises operating multiple small sites.

The service leverages the Microsoft Azure cloud-computing platform, eliminating the need for on-premise servers and storage, greatly reducing traditional hardware costs and installation time.

The Delivery & Operations Specialist will work closely with existing support groups, the DevOps team and the cloud operations team to build processes, tools, and knowledge that will be used to enhance the support and delivery of the product to customers.

The Delivery team also works closely with the sales team and the certified system integrators to ensure painless deployments of the solution for both our clients as well as potential clients currently evaluating the product.

What your day will look like:

Ensure system delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements
Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, metrics collection, deployment etc.
Help to drive performance tuning and capacity planning processes
Identify incident trends and patterns through regular feedback and incident reporting
Analyze and respond to customer incidents and service requests
Provide Business Intelligence data for product management and sales groups
Support our first level of technical Support and handle escalations

About you:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Fluent in English and functional in French
Demonstrates both autonomy and initiative
Organizational skills, deductive skills, priority management skills and attention to details
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Able to multitask, work iteratively, adjust work priorities, and is results oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player who will work towards meeting team commitments
A passion for improving processes and commitment to customer satisfaction

Technical Requirements:

Excellent troubleshooting knowledge of the various Microsoft Windows operating systems
Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols (VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, TCP/IP, NTP, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with scripting (ideally PowerShell) and process automation
Knowledge and experience with server virtualization and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure) and concepts
Experience with monitoring and operating a 24x7 mission critical infrastructure
