Position Summary:

The task associated with this position:

Provide intellectual input, establish research methods, design protocol, advance research, and break new ground.
Troubleshoot research issues, resolve conceptual problems in experimental design and generate hypotheses.
Review and evaluate research findings, prepare reports and manuscripts
Disseminate research results at scientific meetings and in peer-reviewed scientific publications
Represent lab/department and make presentations at internal and external meetings and/or conferences
Assist with supervision of graduate students.

Must have worked as a PDF in Dr. Ortega's lab_
Must have the ne_

- cessary skills and experience to identify the precise function of the essential GTPase YsxC in the assembly of the 50S subunit using cryo-electron microscopy and structural approaches._
