Summary


We are currently seeking a Transport Underwriter, reporting to the Transport Director, whose main mission will be to underwrite requests while ensuring that the quality of the risks underwritten is adequate in order to achieve the maximum profitability.


Main responsibilities

  • Analyze the risks submitted and assess the relevance of the protections requested;
  • Accept or decline risks according to one's level of authority;
  • Subscribe and negotiate the terms of new business, renewals and modifications;
  • Track and bill policies.

Profile

  • Insurance experience in the Transport sector, an asset
  • Have an insurance diploma, an asset
  • Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
  • Curiosity
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Autonomy, rigour, and judgment
  • Priority Management
