Child Care Supervisor
Ensure Centre is meeting CCEYA and Health policies and expectations. Establish and maintain a positive work environment. Mentor and coach staff.

Infant, Toddlers and Preschool

Qualifications/Duties:

~Ensure centre is exceeds CCEYA and Public Health requirements

~Knowledge and experience implementing HDLH

~Day to day operations (staffing, ratios etc)

~Responsible for supervision, behaviour monitoring and evaluating staff, conducting monthly staff meetings

~Perform tours, supporting enrolment of new families

~Interviews, orientation of new staff, and students

~Participate and maintain own Continuous Professional Learning

~Supporting staff in their CPL, involved with Early Years Engage Goals.

~Attend Supervisor Network meetings, plus EYE meetings etc

~Build and maintain Professional and caring relationships with Educators, Parents and children. Prepare monthly newsletter and calendar. Delegate and grow leadership within team.

~Maintain logs, perform inspections (playground, health, conduct fire drills)

~Must be flexible on availability. Hours of Operation 7am-6pm. Shift will vary.

~Responsible for the health & well being of children and staff

~Able to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment

~Good Standing with College of ECE

~Current Vulnerable Police Check

~Current Standard First Aid/CPR C with AED

~Most importantly, POSITIVE attitude.

~Min 2 years as RECE, Supervisor Experience is an Asset

Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour
