Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a SharePoint Developer.
Accountabilities:
- Support and enhance existing portals and applications.
- Support the migration of SharePoint 2016 applications to SharePoint Online.
- Research new Web based solutions by completing POCs and solution documents.
- Provide portal and application solution administration including security and permissions management and search configuration.
Deliverables:
- Migration of current SharePoint Sites and Enterprise Portals and Procedures.

Position Specific Skills or Qualifications required:
- Completed an undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution focused in computer science, engineering, business or related field.
- A minimum two years of experience with Javascript, TypeScript, React, , and CSS development in the VS Code / environment.
- A minimum two years of experience with C# development in Visual Studio, using SharePoint Client API.
- Have experience with SharePoint platform and solution administration.
- Have experience developing applications that use Contentful and Vercel.
- Have experience working with the DITA standard and related authoring and publishing tools.
- Have experience building design prototypes in Axure.
- Have familiarity with legacy technologies ASP and JSP.
- Have familiarity with quality assurance practices related to software development including unit testing, integration testing, and test automations such as Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer.
- Have familiarity with code management or version control tools like GitLab and GitHub.
