Reporting to:
Supply Chain Manager.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage assigned commodity.
  • Communicate and make decisions with engineering, quality or manufacturing team.
  • Communicate with vendors.
  • Study of drawings, selection of suppliers, sending RFQ.
  • Order and follow up of parts for manufacturing.
  • Monitor the change in price and report it to supply chain manager.
  • Identify area of costs reduction and takes initiatives for manufacturing cost optimization.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Postsecondary education in supply chain or electromechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of two years of sourcing/purchasing experience.
  • Ability to read drawings and technical specification.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fastchanging manufacturing environment.
  • ERP experience with Infor Visual preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Most work is performed in an office environment with occasional trips to the assembly floor and the warehouse.
  • Hearing acuity required for safety reasons while on the assembly floor.
  • Exposure to high noise from machines operating nearby during visits to the assembly floor.
  • Most of work is done while sitting down.
  • Works with computer for prolonged periods of time

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
