Job Description:

As the
Accounts Payable, Supervisor you will provide guidance and help establish best practices through the guidance of the Accounting Manager


What you're responsible for:


  • Prioritizing invoices according to payment terms and policies.
  • Preparing and processing checks, wire transfers and electronic fund transfers on a weekly basis.
  • Review AP subledger regularly for aged and unusual items.
  • Responding to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to the team and help to establish best practices within the department.
  • Guiding and mentoring team members; actively participate in their development.
  • Monitoring employee performance in order to provide appropriate feedback to team members, and metrics to management.
  • Organizing and delegating workload.
  • Providing supporting documentation for audits.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable role of while include 12 years of management experience.
  • Problem Solving ability to systematically find and correct issues to the vendor payments.
  • Comfort with fastpaced environments
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, specifically excel
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks at once and prioritizing work.
  • Ability to lead team and delegate tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
