Troubleshooting electronic circuit boards and identifying defective components

Repair/remanufacture of electronic circuit board
Testing the electronic circuit boards following specified test procedures
Writing troubleshooting/repair reports
Good soldering skills including SMD rework/soldering
Supporting and improving production activities including developing, maintaining and updating test tools and procedures
Performing equipment testing and calibration
Participating in prototyping and testing with the product development team
Working effectively in collaboration with other members of the team
Working in a safe manner so as not to endanger individual health and safety, or the health and safety of others
Contributing to a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned by Management

Knowledge/Experience:

Diploma of college studies or equivalent in mechanical, electromechanical, electrotechnical or electronic engineering or in a related field.
General knowledge of electronics (reading schematics, layout drawings, component data sheets.)
Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in electronics testing/repair
Experience with analog and digital circuits of various complexity
Experience with programming and testing FPGA
Experience with basic RF tests (measurements of impedance, Sparameters) with VNA
Experience in a disciplined engineering environment (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MIL STD 498,etc.)
Experience in the medical device industry considered an asset
Proficiency in using general office productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc)

Salary:
$65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
