- Process invoices while ensuring proper controls and authorizations are followed
- Reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable records
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Process payments by EFT, credit card, and regular cheque runs
- Prepare journal entries as required
- Administer rewards and incentives program
- Review and process employee expense reports
- Manage general email inbox inquiries
- Assist with the year-end audit
- Participate in changes to systems and processes to enhance efficiency, controls, and accuracy
- Backup/support other accounting functions as required
- Assist in various department projects as assigned
- This role is suited to a detail oriented individual with strong MSOffice and systems skills. You enjoy working within a collaborative team environment supporting various departments.

The Job:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for recording and reporting supplier/service provider obligations completely and accurately, and processing payments in a timely manner in accordance with company policy. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring a positive dealer experience in relation to the payment of dealer incentives, as well as supporting other accounts payable roles.
