- Design, implement, and maintain security controls and mechanisms to protect our cloud-based systems, connections, and data.
- Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation measures.
- Implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts, investigating potential security incidents and responding to incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our cloud environments.
- Provide security guidance and support to development teams, helping them build secure applications and services.
- A bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or the equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and services, including Azure Virtual Network, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure Key Vault.
- Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers, and colleagues throughout North America.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Dedicated team player and a passionate problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
