Well-known for our groundbreaking alien animations in Neill Blomkamp's critically-acclaimed film District 9, we have gone on to produce more award-winning work in The Mandalorian, Game Of Thrones, Lost in Space, Jurassic World, Elysium, and most recently, we received an Emmy Award for our VFX work in The Book of Boba Fett.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Executive Producer is to be a face of Image Engine to both clients and crew.

Primary responsibilities are to oversee and maintain the smooth operation of productions within Image Engine, to maximize quality for our clients at a reasonable and fair cost, and to maintain client relationships and internal collaborative management to ensure successful growth of the company and profitability.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Production:


  • Generate revenue
  • Review client materials (scripts, storyboards, breakdowns, etc.) and provide detailed and accurate bids for the VFX work
  • Act on behalf of Image Engine as the primary liaison in the studio with current and potential clients
  • Work closely with the General Manager, VFX Supervisor, Producer and Production Team to ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining the highest quality of work
  • Liaise with Operations, IT, HR & Finance to ensure production needs are met
  • Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction
  • Clearly communicate large changes to show schedule/budget to Image Engine executive team
  • Profitability

Management:


  • Collaborate with management and production teams to ensure Image Engine is successfully executing projects, building its brand, and building relationships with key clients while maintaining relationships with its current clientele
  • Consult on business development initiatives, ensuring the right business is being attracted and awarded to the facility, and that excellent relationships with clients are built and maintained.
  • Consult on the strategic plans and goals of the studio

Communication:


  • Set an optimistic and enthusiastic tone for the studio
  • Support and promote Image Engine policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership to crew at all levels
  • Help promote Image Engine's work, company values, mission statement and vision to clients, colleagues, employees, and industry professionals

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of production and business development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with executing and negotiating bids
  • Supervisory/leadership experience
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing strategy
  • Strong knowledge of the VFX industry and market trends
  • Experience in the VFX Industry is required
