Associate, Equity Finance

What is the opportunity?

Are you someone with excellent communication skills? Are you focused and determined in periods of high stress? As the successful incumbent you will join the RBC Capital Markets Equity Finance Desk, an integral part of RBC's Central Funding Group.

You will be expected to act in the best interest of RBC Capital Markets and our clients.

What will you do?

Borrowing securities to cover firm and client short positions
Respond to client borrow requests in a timely manner
Interact with Prime Brokerage clients
Interact with other Financial Institutions
Interact with Central Funding and Capital Markets Partners

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Completion of the CSC & CPH
Ability to display intellectual flexibility
Previous working experience in Capital Markets and securities lending
Excellent client service skills
Strong Data Management skills and attention to detail
Team player with strong communications skills
Detail orientated with good working product knowledge of fixed income, equity and derivative products
Able to work in a fast paced trading floor environment
