The Corporate Partnership & Tenant Relations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and successful fulfillment of corporate partnership and sales account objectives.

This role focuses on cultivating and nurturing key corporate relationships to ensure exceptional brand recognition and revenue growth for REAL.

Through strategic relationship building and identification of revenue opportunities, the Manager drives increased revenues and profitability while enhancing brand recognition across our event portfolio and campus assets.

As a member of REAL's management team, the Corporate Partnership & Tenant Relations Manager contributes to strategic planning and collaborates with internal departments to achieve organizational goals.

This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively and drive business unit strategies forward.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a member of REAL's Management team, the Manager, Corporate Relationships & Tenant Relations participates in the development of REAL's strategic planning process, develops, and implements the business plan to achieve the corporation's short and long-term goals by:

  • Developing implementing and managing the business unit's goals and objectives to achieve short to medium term operational results of the Department
  • Developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy aimed at expanding our network of corporate sponsors and collaborators.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring business unit critical success factors and key performance indicators
  • Identify and engage potential corporate partners through proactive outreach, networking, and relationshipbuilding efforts.
  • Implement workplace safety plans and training designed to identify and mitigate safety hazards for staff, and ensures that they are corrected in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with peers and internal client groups, ensuring the execution of events and service delivery.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and value for all parties involved.
  • Constantly evaluating the resource utilization and availability within the team identifying, forecasting potential resource deficit or surplus, and implementing plans to address identified gaps.
Leads, oversees and manages Corporate Partnership and Tenant Relations activities and programs, strategies and services to support event, entertainment and recreational requirements by:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and best practices related to corporate partnerships and tenant relationships, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Develops business development goals and objectives
  • In collaboration with the Manager, Sponsorship develops a "saleable assets inventory" outlining the ways/means that REAL can leverage its facilities, brand(s), major events, premium seats, any event to create revenue and promotion opportunities. Coordinate events, programs, and initiatives aimed at fostering community engagement and enhancing the tenant experience (i.e. Food Bank)
  • Develops a plan of proactive interaction with existing clients to maximize awareness and influence, initiate & maintain regular contact with all important decision sources within key clients.
  • Executes and fulfills multiple partnership agreements. Primary point of contact.
  • Manage distribution of end of the year fulfillment reports for select partners so that each partner has a comprehensive and unique summary of their previous year's inventory and bonus inventory
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships, tracking key performance metrics and making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain sponsorship database and compiles reports
  • Understand asset pricing and maintain ongoing knowledge of available inventory
  • Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients
  • Identify new ways of generating incremental revenue / minimizing expenses for the organization
  • Leads renewal discussions for corporate partners and acts as the liaison between corporate partners and outside vendors
  • Actively engage and work collaboratively with key internal departments who are involved in the partnership / event / service delivery of contracts to ensure delivery capabilities, and the effective and efficient handoff of sales contracts to fulfillment and delivery teams.

Ensures effective business unit financial planning by:

  • contributing to the development of the department's annual budget (capital and financial), responsible for monitoring monthly financial statements and forecasting/implementing appropriate expenditure controls to manage costs.
