Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acting as an ambassador for our company with all accounts in the West Vancouver territory in both retail and on premise
  • Increase brand awareness within the market for all current and future brands under the Parallel 49 Brewing Company name
  • Increase market share in the territory
  • Build amazing relationships with key decision makers at retail and hospitality
  • Launch, Plan and Support our promotional and release schedules
  • Plan for and execute to achieve sales and growth goals each Month/Quarter
  • Attend and set up events as a representative of Parallel 49 Brewing Company as needed
  • Maintain a strong product knowledge base for all of the products within the family of brands
  • Analyze, plan, establish and maintain an efficient and productive daily call pattern in assigned territory to both to onpremise and retail customers
  • Achieve assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives
  • Analyze the total territory and each account to determine the priority selling and promotional opportunities
  • Service and ensure the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point management
  • Educate staff by administering product tastings and training seminars on priority brands

Qualifications

  • You thrive on challenges. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
  • You are confident, diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships
years merchandising or sales experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry and/or other consumer packaged goods organization is preferred

  • You must have and maintain a provincial valid driver's license in good standing with no limitations/restrictions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business level English language proficiency is required
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to reaching and exceeding personal sales goals
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work well independently with little or no supervision
  • Previous experience with CRM Software
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of beer styles, production methods, and trends
  • Be able to lift 50lbs as required
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation and professional selling
  • Passion for craft beer and beverages
  • Ability to travel as required
