Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a full-time Marketing & Events Coordinator in based our Dartmouth office. No travel is required.

MetOcean Telematics is a leading global brand whose sales teams attend many tradeshows throughout the year.

We're looking for a skilled marketing and event coordinator who can help make our tradeshow presence consistently efficient, cost-effective, and memorable.


Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will lead the organization of our busy global tradeshow schedule and other marketing initiatives.

The role will also support the marketing team to review materials, pictures, and videos and track competitors' marketing activity as well as support the use of our marketing systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize trade shows and other customer events, including bookings, booth, and materials preparation, assist with travel arrangements, and post-event surveys
  • Organize and manage the supply of promotional items, printed materials, product samples, and other sales tools globally
  • Support the marketing team with tasks such as the administration of website content, preparation of presentations, review of new image and video content, and review of industry journals for competitor advertising
  • Support the tracking of competitor marketing and promotional activity

Required Skills and Experience

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize issues effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customerservice mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 13 years of experience
  • Experience working with colleagues in graphic design, sales, marketing, and communications
  • Drive innovation, creativity, and team collaboration to continuously improve upon best practices and processes
  • Aptitude to understand the full breadth of MetOcean Telematics products and solutions
  • Proficient with MS Applications especially, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with CRM & PM systems is an asset

Education:

Bachelor's degree (Marketing Specialization) is preferred
