Our products can be found under Private Label in local and national groceries, multi-unit restaurant operations, and other food manufacturers across the US and Canada.

We supply a vast range of chef-created sauces and dressings for meal kits, frozen meals, restaurant entrees and salads and salad kits.

The Position
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to be our
Account Manager. You have a passion for innovation in the food industry and could talk about food all day.

You have a collaborative sales approach and an interest in partnering with customers to create new and exciting sauces, dressings, and dips to grow their business (and ours).

Working with a chef, you will develop sales presentations, paired with a five-course meal, showcasing how Giraffe can elevate our customers' offerings.

You are able to seamlessly flow from sales to project manager to taste tester and you are comfortable providing feedback and direction in a cross-functional team.


Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with food manufacturers in the US and Canada
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining key business priorities.
  • Partner with customers using solutionbased sales techniques to grow the business.
  • Develop sales presentations paired with tastings to showcase new and innovative products.
  • Project management and tracking of new and existing product launches.
  • Attend industry trade shows and customer meetings throughout the US and Canada.
  • Liaise and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to expedite product development and product launch.
  • Collaborate with Senior management and Sales team to create and implement effective strategies for growth and increase of profitability.
  • Sales analysis, reporting and presentation to Senior management.
  • Collaborate with R & D Team and Research Chef to develop and execute Culinary Ideation Sessions with existing and potential customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • University Degree required.
  • Minimum five (5) years in outside sales required.
  • Sales experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of ingredients, the R&D process and commercialization of new items
  • Highly motivated and dynamic selfstarter who can independently determine priorities.
  • Execute sales plans and ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Proven ability in new business development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of firstclass customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Creative problemsolving skills, judgment, and common sense.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform.
  • US and Canadian travel required.
