Magnum Transhaul Inc.

is looking for a dispatcher with a
MINIMUM 1 years experience in LTL, FTL Flatbeds and also be experienced with computerized dispatch.

-
Responsibilities_

Dispatch drivers in accordance with customer needs.

Create cost effective trucking routes that meet customer demands.

Ability to adjust to last minute changes in scheduling and communicate effectively with drivers and customers.

Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate customer needs.

Effectively communicate with customers concerning operational and logístical issues, changing processes and work updates.

Accept load tenders, book delivery appointments and schedule pick up date and time.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications_

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Previous experience working as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator or transportation customer service role is a definite asset.
Work successfully with both the management and the warehouse teams

Creativity & vision with strong understanding of how to balance priorities

Excellent communication, organizational & administration skills

The ability to solve problems in a fast-moving environment

Identify and solve problems through your own initiative and by communicating with others

Positive attitude with good people skills.

Proficient with Transplus, Fleet Manager, MS Office, including MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel

Ability to work effectively without close supervision, collaboratively, independently & under tight timelines
