Research Assistant:

In the appointment of Research Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be:

Research, data analysis in R, text file wrangling, writing scripts, preparing reports, writing papers and annotated bibliographies, generating graphs/figures/tables, literature/library research and review, finding solutions for workflow inefficiencies, administrative tasks and provision of other research support and assistance.


Your general location of work will be remote, your own office, or Arts 174 and you will report to Dr.

Katherine A. Collins.


Required Number of Hours: 200 hours during the academic term or 10 hours per week

Duration of Employment:
Winter session OR specific start and end dates.


Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
i.e. Minimum of a H.B.Sc. or H.B.A. degree or equivalent in Psychology. Experience and comfort using R for data analysis. Computer programming skills, especially Applescript and Python. Interest in language and social psychology.

You must be registered in a graduate program.
