    Description

    Individual is a experienced Licensed General Machinist or Tool & Die Maker with a minimum of 3 years experience

    Experience in Gibbscam is an asset

    Experience with Solidworks is an asset

    Experience with setup and programming of CNC mill and lathe an asset

    Must operate a manual and CNC lathe or milling machines in a safe manner

    Read and interpret drawings and manufacture parts with specifications

    Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts conform to the drawings

    Follow health and safety policies

    Must be detail oriented

    Possess machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations

    Ability to work in a team oriented environment

    Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    Job requires long periods of standing

    Drivers license

    Must be flexible with work hours

    Ability to wear protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs etc.
