Job Summary:
Project Manager**
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Estimating, preparation of the phasing plans and project schedule.
- Coordinating with our project support personnel to finalize the pricing of the projects.
- Managing and scheduling contractors.
- Reviewing the project plans and commenting on the design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential problems.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Establishing and monitoring of budgets and observance of variance controls.
- Manage site communications and issue resolution.
- Overseeing construction and conducting periodic site inspections to ensure quality, timing, and adherence to standards.
- Communicating with clients as needed.
- Liaising with various internal contacts including the Contractors and Invoicing team to ensure projects are completed as per plan.
Education and other skills
- A two or fouryear college education is preferred or equivalent experience in a multisite commercial construction environment.
- Extensive general trade and industry knowledge.
- Computer skillsMS office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to learn to meet the changing requirements of the position.
- Advanced organization skills with the ability to prioritize ongoing tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and have a vehicle to use for work.
