Voyago is hiring a Part-time Para Bus Driver for our North Bay location.

Your Role

You are responsible to provide superior customer service and to work closely with individuals with special needs.
You are responsible for aiding passangers boarding the bus, maneuvering wheelchairs, fastening Q-Straint belts, lifting portable assistive devices and assisting ambulatory passengers.
You will ensure all passengers, devices and mobility aids are restrained and secure as well as provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops.
You can work part time hours

Requirements:

Your Profile

You hold a valid B, E, C, or F licence
You have a clean drivers abstract and will obtain a recent copy for a driver file.
You can provide a clear Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
You display safe and defensive driving techniques.
You have the ability to work independently.
You have a sound knowledge of the City of North Bay and be capable of planning own routing
You will work approximately 12 hours of work a week, with shifts falling between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday-Saturday (Saturday shift required once a month).
You have your own transportation to work.
You have experience with wheelchairs and/or Q‐straints (an asset).
