The Specialist, Data Analytics is responsible for the delivery of leading-edge analytical solutions.

This key role will work closely with the Marketing team to understand the data needs of different customer segments and craft solutions to support information-based decisions.

Leveraging knowledge in Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and statistical modeling, the Specialist, Data Analytics will create prototypes of new reporting, produce in-depth analysis for key business issues, build predictive models to improve processes based on business requirements and ultimately help to demonstrate the impact of Marketing investments against Business priorities.


Responsibilities:


  • Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Specialist, Data Analytics.
  • Leverages data query tools as required to pull data from multiple sources and amalgamate into new data sets for analytical and modeling purposes based on the business requirements.
  • Develops reports for clients including summaries of use cases, results, gaps, recommendations and documentation of how to best use the provided solutions.
  • Evaluates key performance metrics and evaluate trends.

Job Responsibilities (continued):


  • Performs data mining tasks, such as classification, regression, clustering, recommendations and text analysis.
  • Conducts high level reviews to identify client needs, problems and opportunities alongside with other business functions to determine if a possible solution can be developed. Continuously identify opportunities and solutions to better meet business needs.
  • Effectively communicates the business and technical benefits of the analytic solution to both business and technical audiences.
  • Develops and implements various types of predictive models, segmentation strategies, contact management strategies, multichannel offer strategy, data mining analyses, and performs research and development regarding new innovative analytic techniques to drive top line and bottomline growth.
  • Create and maintain the BI documentation for all processes, including related data dictionaries, design, logic, flowchart, and user manual.

Qualifications:


Education

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline (/Statistics/Data Science, Economics, Engineering)

Experience

  • 3 years' experience in advance analytics (a combination of education and work
experience preferred).- Significant experience working with methodologies such as predictive modeling,

profiling, segmentation forecasting, marketing attribution and data mining.- Demonstrated analytical experience in a marketing, operations or digital

environment.- Experience developing ETL processes, data marts and business intelligence

solutions.- Proficient at multiple coding languages such as Python, SQL, R.

  • Experience with the following tools: PowerBI (or other reporting tools eg. Tableau or
QlikView), DAX, SAP.- Experience in large-scale data management, warehousing, and relational databases.

  • Experience with Azure/AWS cloud environments
  • Experience with machine learning (random forest, time series, etc.)
