We are a small unionized plant of 150 employees that work together as a team to achieve great success.

Summary:

We currently have a job opening for a Forklift Operator.

Reporting to our warehouse supervisors, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials and products in a safe a timely manner.

Key Activities:

Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Report quality variances.
Move products from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
Inspect the forklift or other equipment (daily basis).
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Education & experience required:

Valid Forklift Licence (an asset);
Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (an asset).
