The Toronto Centre for Liver Disease located at Toronto General Hospital is a University Health Network Centre of Excellence for viral hepatitis and autoimmune liver disease.


Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator and/or more senior staff, the Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) collaborates with MD and multidisciplinary health care team, specializing in set up of new investigator initiated clinical trials with industry collaborators.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or sciencerelated discipline.
  • Holds recognized certification in clinical research (e.g., ACRP or SOCRA).
  • 3 to 5 years clinical and/or professional experience, and
  • At least 3 years clinical research experience.
  • Experience working with liver disease preferred.
  • Experience in research contract budget management.
  • Experience in management of research ethics (REB) submissions internationally and locally [required].
  • Venipuncture training.
  • Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines preferred (such as ICH/GCP, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki, FDR, CFR and Health Canada TPD (as required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
