Payments Innovation & Delivery Excellence team in Global Operations and Business Services unit, is responsible for developing and maintaining the near-term strategy and execution roadmaps for Payments, with a focus on initiatives that create business value while continuing to build towards our Payments Platform target state vision.

With an enterprise-wide focus, the team is charged with ownership of the Payments Platform and associated capabilities that can be leveraged across all lines of business globally (Global Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial and Business Banking, and Retail Banking), products and features.

Here's some of what you would be asked to perform:


  • Serve as Product Manager, leading Payment's transformation delivery including regulatory and compliance requirements are fulfilled for global jurisdictions where TDBG conducts its business.
  • Contribute to Product strategy, planning including conducting market research and or product prototyping
  • Ensure customers' needs are proactively identified inclusive of customer journey mapping.
  • Deliver on time and on budget to meet stakeholders and customers' requirements and expectations.
  • Align with senior management on overall strategic vision, product delivery roadmap and user story design, development, and completion oversight.
  • Proactively manage business stakeholders to obtain inputs needed for product development in a timely manner and actively communicate to Business, Technology and Senior Management product changes and backlog priorities.
  • Review performance analytics: recommend and champion strategies to enhance the customer or enduser product experience.

  • Participate in Scrum or Kanban events (e.g. standups, retrospectives) to express new ideas for improving product value or delivery efficiency and share with leadership as appropriate
  • Proactively raise issues that impede the efficient delivery of customerfocused increments.
  • Monitor and keep abreast of emerging issues, trends and evolving industry and regulatory changes. Partner with the senior management to consider impacts or changes to product strategy as needed
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Integrate knowledge of the enterprise subfunctions or business line's overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations.
  • Communicates complex concepts, translate information into compelling business context to influence and gain alignment among increasing senior stakeholders
  • Contributes to a culture of innovation, actively seeking ways to enhance the capability and performance efficiency, efficacy, and success of TD Securities
  • Lead and grow diverse and inclusive talent: Build people plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain
  • Provide leadership, direction, advice and guidance to the team, thus maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation and morale.
  • Maintain staff competence by ensuring that staff skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development, so they are able to perform to their maximum capability and fulfil their potential.
  • Lead and coach a team of Business Analysts to assume an "ownership" role in executing their deliverables, e.g. gathering and documenting Business Requirements, User stories that can be understood by the intended solution developers; responsible for the testing stream including creating detailed test cases to be consumed by Quality Engineering team for endtoend testing automation framework; manage change management activities, conduct implementation business validation.
