The Project team is located in our downtown Montreal head office and is currently looking for an Experienced Project Coordinator to work mainly in ocean freight as well as Inland modes of transport.

The incumbent will be responsible for negotiating and quoting rates and related costs for submission to the client, and thereafter initiating bookings (requesting and confirming).

This role also requires the treatment of all documentation and operational coordination to the extent required by clients, and the processing of invoices for services rendered.

The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Submit shipping instructions to carriers in addition to preparing, processing, verifying for accuracy and dispatching all appropriate documents.
Issue and/or approve invoices for customers and carriers.

The person we are looking for will have the following qualifications:

Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written;
Minimum of 3 years' experience with a freight forwarder, with experience in Project related cargos (OOG, H/L, FR, etc.) preferred.
Excellent computer skills (freight forwarding software)
