We are currently interviewing for the following positions:
Language Teacher - English & French.

ESL Teacher

Math Teacher

Science Teacher

Robotics Teacher(Part-time)

IELTS Tutor(No band below 7.0)

Thesis Writing Tutor, Program Mentor(PHD, can work online)

Volunteers

Hope you are a friendly, enthusiastic, and patient tutor who has strong communication skills to students K-12 and wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment to provide individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills.

Vulnerable sector screening is required.


Requirements:


Education:

• Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Fourthyear university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Good knowledge of Ontario Curriculum(K12)
• Teaching certification is an asset

Experience:

• 1year+ experience teaching/tutoring at K1 Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
• Experience teaching Test Preparation courses (IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge), University Pathways courses and/or Business courses

Responsibilities

• Tutoring up to 3 students at a time at different levels(inperson)
• Teach and provide tutoring assistance using lessons, discussions, presentations
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
• Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
• Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery

Technology skills required:

• MS Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Requirements:

Can carry a weight of 20kg(Robotics Material)

$18-$40/hour

Weekdays: 4-8pm, Saturdays: 9am - 5 pm
