Baker - Peterborough, Canada - Hard Winter Bakery

Description

Looking for either full time (preference given to someone who can fulfill a full time role at 40+ hours a week) or multiple part time bakers to join our amazing staff team.

Specifically in our pastry department.

Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial bakery is preferred. Significant stage experience would be considered if a recent bakery grad has worked in similar kitchens. We are also willing to train people who come from a culinary background and have interest in baking/bakery production.

We're looking for a friendly and hard working team player who wants to be a part of a healthy, creative environment full of other awesome people Able to lift 50 lbs, work early mornings and be flexible.

Although we work on a set schedule we highly value flexibility and a team approach, meaning sometimes covering sick days, holidays and working toward successful food holiday production.

Hourly rate based on experience. Health benefits available to full time employees after three months with the company.

Preferred start date is mid-January, however we would be open to some December hours and training/holiday support.
