SmartD Technologies is disrupting the century-old industry of electrical motor control with the introduction of its Silicon Carbide-based variable frequency drive (VFD).

The SmartD Clean Power VFD brings more efficiency, extended motor lifetime and simplified engineering to this market.

As we increase our market presence and ramp-up production we're looking for a talented individual who will be the customer face of SmartD operations

If you're passionate about working with customers and seeing them succeed; and
If you want to have an impact on bringing a disruptive product to market.

You should be an expert in:

Customer service, production scheduling;
Verbal and written communication in English and French with customers and internal stakeholders;
And if you are familiar procurement, transportation and customs clearance all the better;

And this is what we'd expect of you:

Receive, review and confirm customer orders;
Use software to record sales, customer contact and shipping information, and other data;
Work closely with manufacturing to create and schedule work orders;
Work closely with finance to verify and/or establish customer credit;
Prepare transportation and customs paperwork for customer shipments;
Communicate directly with customers to clarify order details and status;
Promptly respond to customer enquiries;
Source components and subassemblies from suppliers;
Support ad hoc procurement for R&D and the rest of the organization;
Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable support to the finance team;

Our offices are located in downtown Montreal, near Georges-Vanier, Lucien-L'allier and Bonaventure Station.

Salary:
$35,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
