You will be responsible for managing resources and activities related to the installation, configuration, and operation of cybersecurity systems (including tools such as access management, vulnerability management, threat hunting, traffic filter, micro segmentation, and perimeter security).
Endowed with natural leadership and exemplary work rigor, you will ensure the delivery of projects and developments in your sector.
In collaboration with the Director, Infrastructure Platforms, you will guide and define the architectural vision of the tools under the responsibility of the platform.
You will:
- Manage team resources and work closely with various IT teams;
- Manage the integration team and activities related to projects and upgrades involving the cybersecurity platform;
- Manage the cybersecurity platform team and operations activities;
- Oversee the productivity, performance and quality of cybersecurity platform services;
- Manage various services under your authority;
- Manage relationships with various external firms servicing the cybersecurity platform;
- Administer the allocated budget;
- Contribute to guiding and defining the architectural vision of the platform;
- Contribute to the continuous development of the contingency plan;
- Supervise the quality and performance of services under your authority;
- Oversee procurement for the unit and ensure all IT service providers meet requirements related to the cybersecurity platform;
- Ensure the transfer of operational requirements for projects and upgrades from the integration team to the operations teams;
- Monitor technology developments related to your platform;
- Provide recommendations to your immediate supervisor regarding evolving best practices (DevOps, ITIL, MOF, etc.) and implement initiatives identified as priorities;
- Oversee your team's contribution to various IT projects and upgrades, and ensure service quality for Level 3 support incidents and requests;
- Maximize the contributions of your direct reports by setting performance objectives based on the business plan, tracking progress and ensuring objectives are met;
- Provide coaching and oversee development for direct reports.
The toolbox we are looking for - Bachelor's degree in computer science;- Ten or more years of experience in the IT industry, including at least seven in infrastructure and five in cloud computing;- Minimum three years of supervisory experience;- Familiarity with every aspect of IT (cloud computing, telecom, data warehousing, virtualization, Windows environments, data centres);- Extensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure;- Awareness of market trends in IT infrastructure;- Knowledge of ITIL V3 and V4 processes and frameworks;- Knowledge of DevOps proces
