Rexdale Animal hospital prides itself on creating a positive work atmosphere, in order to provide excellent care and comfort for our patients and clients.
We are seeking a new practice manager to join our team.
We are a full-service small animal hospital equipped with the latest technology, in-house lab, X-rays, dental x-rays, and a full surgery suite.
- Should be passionate about animals and care for their wellbeing.
- 15 years of experience in a manager role, including customer service experience.
- Selfmotivated, and hardworking, work well in a team and as an individual to ensure efficient workflow.
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Interpersonal skills with staff and clients, and works well in a team environment.
- Problemsolving and resolution management skills
- Thrives under a fast paced work environment, and shows leadership thorough actions
- Dedicated, punctual, and eager to learn and contribute to the team
- Has great customer communication and people skills
The position would entail:
- Setting up staff schedule and managing the staff to ensure efficient work flow
- Inventory management, control drug management
- Working with managing veterinarian, on staff hiring, training, review and discipline
- Working with vendors and coordinating with other companies
- Managing and coordinating overall hospital operations
- Client communications, talking to clients about procedures, estimates and booking appointments and resolving client issues
- Developing and maintaining hospital policy
- Communicating with the clients and routine reception work
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
- Prepare vaccinations and fill prescriptions
