The Operations Manager is responsible for strategy, budgets, people, financial outcomes and scorecard metrics, directing and coordinating activities within the business unit(s).

Driving the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
.



What does an Operations Manager with Paul Davis do?

  • Oversees daily operations for the business unit(s). Ensures implementation of growth strategies and coordinates the development of key performance goals for team members
  • Creates and cultivates business and professional relationships based on trust, actively listening and finding ways to manage multiple teams while still having fun
  • Directs and helps engage the leadership team for longrange goals and objectives for business growth and profitability.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data in each department within the business unit(s) and their progress toward stated goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, quality, safety and customer service standards.
  • Provides performance feedback, training and coaching to develop to managers and employees.
  • Maintains our company culture and fostering an environment that promotes safety and drives exceptional customer service expectations by recognizing and rewarding desired behaviors.
  • Reviews operations and financial budgets to meet requirements for sales planning; Develop and protect business relationships and account management.
  • Analyzes operational information and set key performance goals to manage productivity and oversee execution of management action plans to meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Oversees key hiring and talent development programs and evaluates these initiatives for proper investment in equipment and talent.
  • Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.

Team Qualifications (Requirements):


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university or technical college desired
  • 10 years management experience in construction, restoration or a service related industry required.
  • General Contracting license preferred but not required
  • Experienced at reading, interpreting and managing financial statements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, mentor and bring a diverse group of people together to work effectively
  • Ability to present information in various settings: oneonone, small/large group situations to customers, homeowners or employees in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make prudent decisions
  • IICRC Certifications
  • Strong skills in MS Office, RMA and Xactimate

Physical Requirements:
The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.

$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
