Controller / Assistant Controller

A CPA Professional Corporation, providing outsourcing of bookkeeping, Controller, CFO services to small and medium sized companies, is looking to fill the position of Controller / Assistant Controller.

We are currently seeking accounting professionals with strong interpersonal, time management and communication skills.

As a Controller / Assistant Controller in our dynamic environment you will be an integral part of our client specific team approach.

You will travel to different clients within the GTA where you will be responsible for:

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasts.
• Preparation of audit working papers
• Processing daytoday transactions including accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, payroll and benefits, and banking transactions.
• Inventory Management
• COS analysis
• Project Profitability
• Preparing government remittances including ETD, EHT, WSIB, GST, QST, etc.
• Preparing T4's (including taxable benefits), T4A's and T5's.
• Interacting with clients to ensure all necessary tasks are completed.

Skills required:

• CPA or working towards professional designation
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience full cycle accounting, Cost accounting, Payroll and financial statement preparations
• Working in a manufacturing company preferred
• Advanced computer skills including strong experience in using QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, AccPac, Business Vision, Excel, etc.

Salary:
$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
