Job Summary:

The City of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full-time HR Associate - Disability Management/OHS.

Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health and Safety, the HR Associate - Disability Management/OHS is responsible for providing effective occupational disability management and administrative support for return to work processes.

This position is responsible for assisting the OHS Manager in the coordination of the Psychological Health and Safety management system and administrative support for the City of Nanaimo's EFAP program.

Requirements:


Applicants must have a Diploma in Rehabilitation and Disability Management or a related field from a recognized educational institution, as well 3 years' recent, related experience in a disability management or rehabilitation setting.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in developing and maintaining a psychological health and safety management system would be considered an asset.


Compensation and Benefits:


This is a salaried position, based on a 35 hour work week, and relocation assistance may be provided to the successful applicant.
