Description

EV Connect is seeking an experienced Channel Account Manager with a proven track record of leading and managing a channel network.

This full-time position requires close collaboration with EV Connects leadership, field sales, inside sales, finance, support, marketing, and sales operations to drive channel revenue in Canada.

The Channel Account Manager will establish influential partner relationships with distributors, resellers, and strategic partnerships.

This is a terrific opportunity for a talented and ambitious salesperson with tremendous growth potential for someone with prior channel management experience.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • You are the business owner for a strong collection of existing distributors and valueadded resellers in a fastgrowing industry. You will manage your territory's revenue generation goals and lead channel partnerships within the territory.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership team to develop strategic plans to increase channel revenue in defined territory.
  • Recruit, onboard and support channel partners in defined territory.
  • Manage & develop executive level relationships with customers and partners.
  • Create growthoriented sales plans for new and existing channel partners.
  • Build and manage pipeline in a solution selling environment that tracks opportunities through a 39 month sales cycle.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, arm in arm, with channel partners, from prospect engagement/qualification, quote creation, contract negotiation, customer purchase order, etc.
  • Educate partners and their customers on EV market and charging solutions.
  • Manage opportunities in CRM (HubSpot) and record key activities on prospect and customer interactions in the EV Connect customer relationship management system. Provide ongoing reporting & transparency through CRM.
  • Have a deep understanding of the incentive and rebate programs in your territory and how they impact your opportunities.
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
  • Have a proficient understanding of all products and services offered by our company as well as by key partners.
  • Ability to travel as much as 50% of the time.

Qualifications:


  • 35+ years of professional experience building relationships with resellers, channel partners, VARS, and distributors.
  • Proven success meeting sales objectives on a regular basis through channel sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have a strong written and verbal proficiency in French.
  • Must be selfdirected, able to work independently, as well as work in a teamoriented and fast paced environment. This is a nascent and fastgrowing industry, so adaptability is key.
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams to deliver solutions and drive success.
  • Experience using a CRM system, e.g., HubSpot.
  • A demonstrated history of multitasking with a keen focus on attention to detail.
  • Have an ownership mentality, one in which you embrace the responsibility and all that comes with it.
  • A passion for sustainability, electric vehicles, and/or clean transportation is a plus
  • Proven track record developing and negotiating strategic partnerships, contracts, and alliances. Autonomous, teamplayer, selfmotivated, and influential.
  • Software/SaaS/hardware sales experience.
  • Positive attitude, excited to take on new challenges every day.
  • Understanding of construction bid process.
  • Skilled multitasker, comfortable with hyper growth challenges.
  • Undergraduate degree

Location:


  • Canada Remote
  • Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver

Salary:

- $80,000 - $90,000 CAD Plus Commission
