The Northern Health Region is currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to practice in a multidisciplinary environment in The Pas, Manitoba.
The Northern Health Region is geographically the largest of the five Regional Health Authorities in the province of Manitoba and has a population of 72,000 people spread over 396,000 km2, resulting in a population density of 0.Mining, hydro-electric development, forestry, commercial fishing, trapping, transportation and tourism are the major industries in the Region.
Generous remunerationin accordance with the Specialists Independent Contractor Agreement and On-Call Specialist Agreement.Anthony's Hospital in the Town of The Pas which is located 600 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg and is known as "Adventure Territory" with many seasonal outdoor activities to enjoy year round.
OCN is an active and vibrant community that has much to offer its approximately 4,500 residents of Cree descent.There are also family events that take place at OCN including youth programs, recreation, aboriginal culture camps, fishing derbies, arts and crafts, and various other festivals throughout the year.
