    • Support planned maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes, including after-hours work as required.
    • Assist with implementation of infrastructure projects and site deployments.
    • Provide on-site technical support at hospital and healthcare customer locations when required.

    • Experience with network monitoring and IT service management (ticketing) systems.
    • Experience with physical infrastructure, including copper/fiber cabling and hardware racking/stacking.
    • Proficiency in Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident management, especially for connectivity, security protocol issues, and hardware failures.

    • Diagnostic and analytical skills for network issue resolution.
    • Incident triage, prioritization, and escalation.
    • Technical documentation, including diagrams and procedures.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for a healthcare environment with both technical and non-technical audiences.

    WE VALUE

    • Relevant certifications, such as Network+ or CCNP.
    • Preferred 3–5 years of experience in a technical support, NOC, or IT operations role.
    • Experience with the Cisco enterprise ecosystem (e.g., Catalyst, Meraki, or related platforms).

    • Experience working in IT operations within a healthcare environment, including understanding of PHIPA, PIPEDA, FIPPA or similar regulatory frameworks.
    • Experience managing hardware lifecycle from staging to decommissioning.
    • Familiarity with ITIL principles, especially incident, change and service management processes.
    • Foundational knowledge of VOIP systems and IP-based voice communication.

    OTHER CONDITIONS

    • Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position: exposed to stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Must be able to travel within the Southwestern Ontario area, when required.
