Position


The mining division of our client's Regional Field Services team is responsible for the positive outcomes of client projects, implementations and ongoing field support.

The Field Services Manager, working with the Software Services Manager and Project Manager are responsible for overseeing all services, support and projects within the region.

The role will work closely with our Regional Sales Team, Global Business Unit and Functional teams as they provide best in class customer experience for all of our clients.

The role is required to drive their mining division's strategy around Life-of-mine partnership for smarter, safer and more successful mines.

This role oversees all Field Services in regards to all of their solutions.


Areas of Responsibilities:


  • Management:_
  • Drive regional revenue growth and profit contribution via successful projects and services.
  • Manage and provide leadership for the Field Services team; indirectly to the Support team.
  • Manage services process within global framework and governance matrix.
  • Work with Global Business Units and Technology & Innovation teams to drive customer success and value based on customer and regional needs.
  • Collaborate with other divisions as necessary to execute regional and corporate strategies.
  • Manage resource utilization and employee retention.
  • Customer Accounts:_
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and partners in the region.
  • Work with the Regional Team, ensures the company is delivering value to the clients
  • Understand the needs and opportunities within all clients.
  • Services:_
  • Work closely with Project Management team to deliver customer projects on a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales team to ensure correct scope of work, expectations and pricing set for proposals.
  • Manage service delivery by utilizing industry best practices.
  • Ensure customer success with achieving ROI on solution investments.
  • Supervise in the field technical services, addressing client issues.
  • Work with internal teams to develop, schedule and deliver professional training.
  • Facilitate smooth handover from Implementation to Account Management and Support.
  • Corporate Reporting:_
  • Define multiyear regional field services strategy aligned to corporate & regional objectives.
  • Present monthly and quarterly results to leadership with action plan

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or businessrelated field
  • 10 years of experience in mining or other industrial industries.
  • 5 years of management experience leading teams
  • Project management experience leading large hardware and software projects
  • Successful track record building and maintaining a strong safety culture
  • Entrepreneurial individual with a proven ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to change
  • Ability to multitask and deal with time pressure in an unstructured environment
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Highly analytical with strong commercial and complex problemsolving skills
  • Ability to translate complex business issues into actionable solutions.
  • Continuous improvement attitude with ability and confidence to make recommendations and changes
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM for managing support tickets

Travel
Extensive travel (50%) within the region. International travel may be required occasionally.


Language
English is a pre-requisite; additional languages (e.g. French, Spanish) highly desirable

Pay:
$41,930.35-$96,811.95 per year
