Role Description:


  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and reliability.
  • Configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls to establish secure networks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues proactively.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from cyber threats.
  • Manage Juniper and Fortinet network devices for optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement network security solutions.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve network and security incidents.10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network and security administration.

Experience (Years): 6-8

Essential Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Network & Security Administrator.
  • Handson experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Juniper and Fortinet network devices.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Cisco Netscaler for load balancing.
  • Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Certification in network and security technologies (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Fortinet NSE) is preferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
