Safety - Drivers have the Right to Decide and assess the situation to determine if it's safe to drive

Equipment - Bison tractors are on average under two years old; three years for trailers

Compensation - Safe mile bonus paid quarterly, regional premiums, fuel subsidy, benefits and more

Position Profile:

Position runs Monday to Friday 1700 to 0500 start, scheduled days will vary, must be available weekends
Start times might vary depending on freight volumes
Approximately 80% city and 20% highway driving
May include loads going to London, Belleville, Trenton and Kingston
Possible switches to Sudbury, Comber and Sault Ste. Marie
Driver might occasionally be required to sleep in their truck overnight
Driver assist/unloading will be required
Regional work will be required
Additional work might be available upon request
Ontario City JPC Contract applies
Owneroperator with tractortrailer experience
Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
Must have CP Rail and container experience
Must have reefer experience
Must be able to haul all commodities; including meat and alcohol
Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lb.
Reliable, flexible and punctual
Strong communication skills
