Durose Manufacturing Ltd, A leader and progressive manufacturer of fabricated Steel products, is seeking an Industrial Painter

Night shift for their facility in Guelph.

Duties & Responsibilities

Painting of industrial equipment and structural steel using industrial spray paint, pressure pot, and air assist airless pumps.
Must be able to determine and make appropriate adjustments for temperature, humidity, due point, and surface temperature.

Material paint preparation

Material shipping preparation
Cleaning tapped holes
Pressure washing assemblies
And other duties that would include before or after care of weldments
Job includes prep, cleaning, masking, and other production work as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to mix own paint
Must be able to work overtime when needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Certified Forklift/Crane Operator would be an asset
Practise safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations

Night Shift :

Mon to Thurs 4:00PM to 3:30AM 44 hrs/week
