Job Summary

Reporting to the Fabrication and Machining Supervisor the CNC Machinist is responsible for the set up and operation of machinery specific to their area of responsibility in accordance with blueprints, drawings and verbal instructions.

Job Duties

Setup, operate and maintain setup for the following machinery as per company procedures
Operate lathes, milling machines and boring mills
Select appropriate cutting tools and machining procedures
Select appropriate machining parameters (machine feeds and speeds)
Maintain standard maintenance procedures on lathes, milling machines and boring mills
Inspect production product and material to ensure compliance with tolerance/quality standards.
Read production drawings.
Other duties as assigned
