Accounting and Admin Assistant_

Position Scope
You will have strong prioritizing skills, ability to be a positive team player, and work accurately within tight deadlines.
This is a permanent, part-time position (going to be full-time) based in our Edmonton office. You will be reporting to the CEO.

Education
Should know the operation of Quick book.
Should have college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training;
Completion of University.

Key Responsibilities

Completing timely and accurate invoicing of customers
Performing daily coding of all incoming cheques
Preparing and making bank deposits
Greeting visitors at reception area and guide them.
Receiving and logging samples.
Organizing couriers and packages
Scanning documents such as AP cheques & backup documents,
Manage accounts receivable;Manage accounts payable;Prepare financial statements; Prepare bank reconciliations; Prepare payroll
Coding and processing all credit card statements and employee expenses
Distributing incoming mail and courier packages & administering outgoing couriers
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable as required
Maintain boardroom and lunchroom

Qualifications

1 year (approx.) of previous accounting related work in an office environment preferred
Typing speed: wpm.
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
