Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a lead role in talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, screening, and engaging potential candidates. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in HR sourcing, applicant tracking systems, and talent acquisition strategies. The HR Recruiter will collaborate closely with the Client Services Manager to identify resource needs and hire top talent.

Duties

• Collaborate with Client Services Manager to establish recruiting requirements
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods
• Determine applicant qualifications by screening/interviewing applicants
• Conduct interviews to determine suitability of candidates for various positions
• Create, post and monitor job ads
• Prepare HR documentation including employment contracts and job offers
• Perform reference checks
• Screen monthly timesheets from caregivers for accuracy
• Liaise with caregivers as needed
• Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of recruitment practices and policies
• Post social media information on various social media forums
• Participate in HR presentations to potential clients and caregivers in retirement homes, community organizations, seniors fairs etc.
• Prepare and disseminate newsletters to caregivers on relevant information
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 2-5 years proven work experience in full cycle of recruiting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and turn-around times
• Excellent time management, organizational, writing, and oral communication skills are required
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills to successfully interface with candidates
• Proven ability to work positively within a team environment
• Critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and social media platforms such as Linked In and Facebook
• Experience in providing presentations on work-related topics
• Must be tech savvy and have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
