Description

As a Security Guard with Securiguard in Castlegar, you'll be more than a uniformed presence-you'll represent safety, professionalism, and reliability at a high-profile site. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, dependable, and confident in maintaining a secure and professional environment. Security Guards play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of staff, visitors, and the public by providing visible deterrence, responding promptly to incidents, and supporting day-to-day site operations.

Location: Castlegar, BC

Job duties may include, but are not restricted to:

• Providing excellent customer service to both the client and its guests
• Security desk duties including CCTV monitoring
• Responding to client requests
• Responding to emergency service requests
• Patrolling duties including regular building patrols, inspections of data server rooms and temperature gauge monitoring.
• Report writing and two-way radio communication
• Reporting site incidents to Operations Managers

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid BC security license
• OFA certificate is an asset
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional deportment and accountability
• Comfortable patrolling, ability to sit, stand and walk for an extended period of time
• Requires basic computer skills and an ability to use systems such as Microsoft Office Suite
