Rate of Pay:
$ $24.63

per hour
Balmoral Centre provides medically monitored withdrawal management services.

Working as part of the interdisciplinary team, the Addiction Crisis Worker provides support and care to clients during withdrawal and stabilization in a residential setting.

This position is focussing on supporting the addiction bed implementation pilot.

Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years post secondary education in a Human Services field (eg. addictions, social work, psychology) and/or a combination of addictions training and previous working experience in an addiction field
Previous experience in Behaviour Management
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with computerbased data entry is an asset
Ability to work flexible hours is required
Class "G" driver's licence and adequate insurance
Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
