What makes this role important at Ipsos?

This position reports directly to the Field Management Team and works collaboratively with other Centre staff. The Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of Market Research Interviewers in the achievement of Centre objectives. Our business requires Team Leaders with experience in managing people and projects in a proactive and positive manner.

Dynamic business needs also require the ability to stay cool under pressure and to juggle changing priorities through excellent time management skills.


What you can expect to be doing:

  • Staff Development and Management: takes an active role in and is accountable for helping interviewers reach their full potential as Market Research Interviewers.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: works in collaborative fashion with all Field personnel in general and other Team Leaders in particular. Serves as role model through leading by example.
  • Project Management: ensures all necessary technical and logístical preparations are made before start of shift. Keeps open communication with Project Coordinators regarding flow of projects.
  • Quality Control: monitors interviewers, evaluates productivity.
  • Other: payroll verification, equipment & facilities.

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Minimum 1 year Call Centre experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant college or university courses an asset.
  • Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Welldeveloped and effective interpersonal skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English & French language skills.
  • Must be available to work 5 shifts per week (evenings & weekends) (34 shifts in person, 12 shifts remote. Ipsos is currently operating in a hybrid model and may ask employees to commit to 100% of the time in office at a point.)
