NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

REPORTING
The General Labourer reports directly to the Plant Supervisor of Toro Glasswall Inc. He/she is responsibly for general labour work, window assembly and any other duties as required. The hours for the day shift are 7:30am to 4:00pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assembly of windows and window components
  • Packaging of windows and window components
  • Clean work area and equipment
  • Various other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision
  • Operate manual or semiautomatic hand tools
  • Ability to use a tape measure
  • Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment
