The Impact a Front Desk Associate can make:
The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing people to Covenant House Vancouver.

You will support our Youth and Staff by coordinating deliveries, assisting visitors and donors by providing connection to their appropriate contacts, and connecting donors with the appropriate Philanthropy Associates.

You will bring absolute respect and love to every interaction that you have and help to make Covenant House a welcoming environment for all.


How you will contribute:


  • Greet and assist visitors, guests, residents, suppliers, and service providers
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments
  • Assist visitors, volunteers, and contractors in finding their appropriate contacts
  • Greet walk in donors, accept Gifts in Kind Donations, process receipts and store donations in safe until Philanthropy can pick them up
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Assist the Donations Processing team with miscellaneous database and donor maintenance projects
  • Assist with building issues such as the elevators
  • Stay up to date on property restrictions
  • Coordinate clearing of the Lobby for incidents
  • Other related duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?:


Education and Experience:


  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Degree or Diploma in a Social Services field considered an asset
  • 1 year of administrative working experience preferred

Skills & Abilities:


  • Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to display tact, respect, and diplomacy
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries with the Youth.

The starting salary range for this position is $ $22.
