As the Psychometrician and Data Analyst, you will support the Office of Assessment and Evaluation within the MD Program in analyzing complex data, conducting detailed data analysis, and producing complex statistical information.

You will be critical in developing components of data analysis and auditing programs to aid in data interpretation, quality assurance and overall decision making.

You will utilize your strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to advance important milestones and initiatives across the Office of Assessment and Evaluation.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Analyzing complex data that requires great precision and attention to many details
  • Interpreting policies in decisionmaking and providing significant input into local policies, procedures and practices
  • Producing complex statistical information
  • Conducting detailed data analysis to inform management decision making
  • Developing and maintaining components of data analysis and auditing programs for quality assurance purposes
  • Developing information management methods in order to optimize the use of data
  • Providing consultative advice on data analysis and requirements
  • Designing and delivering presentations to stakeholders summarizing data analysis findings;
  • Developing and maintaining a dashboard for quick access to key performance indicators

Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, analyzing complex data and conducting detailed data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience producing statistical information, using classical test theory, itemresponse theory, and other statistical techniques.
  • Familiarity with the basics of test validity
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting policies and providing recommendations
  • Experience with data analysis and auditing programs (e.g. SPSS and SAS) for data analysis and quality assurance purposes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills (oral and written) with an ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and logical thinking.
